Mark, that is an absolutely gorgeous guitar. Been quietly watching and captivated by the build process. Really like the headstock design giving the straighter string angle post to nut. And the sapwood tuner buttons are a really nice touch. Congrats and thanks so much for sharing with us.

Thanks Mesa, Billy, DMZ, and Cigarfan,

I am happy how this came out. I'll work to get a sound clip up soon. In fact, if anyone would like to visit the shop and give it a try, please contact me. I'd love to hear someone else playing it.
I intend to put this guitar out on a road trip in a couple weeks. If you have already expressed an interest I'll be in touch with you soon.

Thanks Again,
Mark

Thanks Juston and David,

The short answer is, I got what I was going for (I think). To elaborate a little, in my website I say I usually make this guitar as my singer, songwriter guitar (more of a strummer). On this one I wanted to go lighter, more toward fingerstyle, but I also wanted to have good forward projection. That's what I've got, I think. It's also why I'm wanting people to come to the shop and play it, so I can stand away and check that projection part.

Thanks Again!
Mark

Default Sound Clips

Hello,

I recently sent this guitar out to Danny Combs to get a couple sound clips. He just responded today with this clip that he says it inspired him to write. There can be no better compliment for a builder than that!

Thanks!
