Default Any Emerald Chimaera owners here?

Hi all,

I had a question for anyone who owns a Chimaera with the LR Baggs setup

I had the electronics sent out to swap mine out (finally getting to it!) and was just wondering what order the volumes were etc for which neck/pickup?

I guess it doesn't matter but I was just trying to keep it consistent with the others

I don't actually know. If I plug into an amp this late the wife will kill me, I'll check tomorrow unless someone beats me to it.

You positively don't mean getting killed by one's wife.

Bax;

Maybe AZ was serious--his last message was 8 hours ago. I'll check the for sale listings to see if his wife is selling his guitar.

Hey, it was after Midnight AZ time.

Bottom neck is hooked up to the right hand knobs (lower set if the guitar is upright in a stand)

On mine the controls seem to be mounted upside down. Rolling them to the right (counterclockwise) = louder.

Mine are mounded far enough in that you can see barely see the dials, and certainly can't read the markings. Mine is new as of around April.

AZ;

Glad you're still amongst the living.

Nice guitar. It should be worth years of wonderment. Good on you.

Finally got time to do my install.....one quick question if possible!

How was the volume piece and switch attached? sticky backs? cocking?

Some of the cabling had sticky backs for mine but nothing for the switch.....I'm probably gonna rewire the switch to my existing one I already have as its in a great spot for me.

Sticky-back/that foam style double stick tape.
