Patriots/Chiefs game tentatively set for tomorrow (Monday). Patriots would only fly to KC tomorrow morning. Traveling on game day must be tough.

That game is going to be brutal. Last minute QB change with new prep (not to mention that it's Hoyer, whose best QB attribute is that he's apparently a very nice guy) and game day travel. As a Pats fan, I was they could just forfeit and avoid a week's worth of injuries and COVID risk.

As robj44 said, this is idiotic. I can't see how Week 5 is going to be any better, or any way that they're going to be able to have games into the playoffs.

Yea, I can't see how an NFL team can fly half way across the country on game day and be productive. Traveling is very tiring, even if you're just sitting around. Get up early and head to the airport isn't fun when you have to work later that day.

Over/Under:
Russell Wilson throws at least 4 TDs against the Dolphins today? I guess for over/under it's 3.5 TDs. He's got 14 in 3 games so far.

They are absolutely flirting with disaster. If someone else has Covid who gets playing time and infects multiple other players, I would think that they would to have to halt the season and revaluate... in the best case scenario.

NFL seems to only have foresight to see the money now and not realize how much worse it will be if they don't do the sensible thing.

We'll see what happens.

So I just turned on the Chargers Tampa Bay game to see how far behind Los Chargers would be. Woopse LA ahead 21 to 7. But as we know that is not enough.

That pick-6 threw Brady off for most of the first half. But now he’s starting to look like his old self. 21 unanswered points and they’re now up by 4. Never count Brady out, Falcons fans know this all too well.

Wow, Brady ended up with 5 TDs in this one! I wonder when was the last time he threw 5 TDs? I did a quick search, looks like 2017 against the Texans.

Brady has had his “best years behind him” for about ten years now. He may not be 2007 Tom Brady, but he’s still one of the best...at 43 years old.

Brady once threw 5 TDs in a single quarter! It took him a whole game today to do that .

I wonder when the last time both Ohio teams won on the same day? Two young QBs leading their teams.

Wow,Dak Prescott is really really good. It’s such a shame that he has to deal with a historically bad defense and play nearly perfect.

Maybe he can get out of Dallas after the season.

Dallas gave up a team record 307 yards of rushing today. You're right, Dak isn't the problem. He only has a single year contract so he has his options open for next season.

https://www.boston.com/sports/nfl/20...sky-nfl-season

"Patriots and National Football League writers believe the status of the NFL is questionable at best going forward due to the coronavirus pandemic.

After 18 Tennessee Titans players and staffers tested positive over a span of eight days, Patriots quarterback Cam Newton tested positive Friday. The Titans-Steelers game has been postponed to Week 7, and the Patriots-Chiefs game – which was originally slated for Sunday at 4:25 p.m. – will likely be played this Monday or Tuesday, if it happens at all this week.

Experts believe playing this week wouldn’t be wise.

....

“It’s all tenuous at best, given the current realities of the coronavirus pandemic,” Volin wrote.

Volin said trying to squeeze Patriots-Chiefs in this week would be “incredibly risky” because the incubation period for COVID-19 can last up to seven days. He called it “a miracle” that it’s taken so long for COVID-19 to wreck the schedule. That good fortunate, however, appears to be over."

Exactly what I've been saying. Enjoy football why you can...

4 TD’s and over 500 yards passing, you couldn’t ask more of that offense. Most winning scores don’t make it to 30 points.
