Hello! It is the Ovangkol with the spruce top. It’s has an amazing sound. It’s actually a prototype. It has a slotted peg head. The back is a 3 piece mini wedge with an ebony insert. I really like how the guitar looks, feels, and definitely it’s playability.

Thanks to everyone for their comments. I’m really happy with the guitar. I’m going to get an in guitar humidifier so it doesn’t dry out. I was told the best one is the OASIS HG-30. Any recommendations? I’ll likely keep it stored in its case, so it doesn’t get damaged.

You are in Michigan where I grew up. Did this one come from Elderly??
I live in SE MICH. No, I purchased from Haggerty’s in SD. The people there are fantastic.

Very nice. I have a Taylor 510e with the same slotted headstock design. Fantastic guitar.
Does yours have a slight V shape to the neck?

I am a believer in humidification. That said, the northern 48s are in the middle of the northern temperate zone. I only humidify in the dry season. In New England the dry season is caused by winter indoor heating, so I humidify about half a year with in-case humidifiers. I also monitor indoor humidity all year round. It seems there is always a new thread about humidity on the forum. Currently there are at least two other such threads on-going. Methods are like guitar brands, string gauges, and capoes. Everybody has a favorite that works for them. What currently works for me is Oasis in-case tubes with a separate hygrometer in each case. Doing something about it is what's important. More important than the method.

One key result of appropriate humidification: Your guitar can't talk, but it will sing for you when you care for it.

For what it's worth, I also wear an anti-covid mask. Like humidifiers, it's Prevention that's important. I learned that from Smokey.

Thank you Don! I plan to get a couple of in case OASIS humidifiers. That leads to my next question. What do you do for electric guitars? Do you use the tube ones for those?

I’ll be honest I’m not sure? It does have the V Class bracing.

I have only ever owned solid body electrics, like a Les Paul and a Strat. I never humidified them. Then again, humidification has only become such a popular thing after I quit playing electric guitars 30 years ago. You might want to check in on forums that specialize in electric guitars, especially solid body ones. If I owned a wide hollow body type like a Gibson ES-175, I would be checking into it.
