You guys have converted me. I've been sleepin in ma skivvies. The night sweats haven't been nearly as bad.

My house is 103 years old with single pane windows and not much insulation

I stopped wearing pajamas at about age 9.

I can't sleep with something wrapped around my legs or torso. I toss and turn and they get caught up in the sheets so it's skivvies only for me.

I do have some long pajama pants that I wear around the house but they come off at bedtime.

I never used to like pajamas, mostly because I had to wear onesies when I was very small and hated having clammy feet. So that distant memory put me off them for decades, until I noticed that I’d sometimes wake up shivering (probably in the fall, still sleeping with just a sheet), and if I wore pajamas to avoid being cold, I wouldn’t get a cold. It’s a similar story with air conditioning in the summer and making sure to have a sheet or something when napping on the couch.
