Default WHAT!

Mike Milbury....I'm not buying this departure! What he said was light-weight in the scheme of things. This uproar is more than meets the eye

It looks like Milbury wasn't fired but he won't be appear in any further 2020 playoff coverage. Guessing he quietly walk away before the next season starts. I'm not a Milbury fan but I think this is harsh punishment.

Mike is not a very likable guy, that's at least my take, and I'm a life long B's fan, starting in the mid 60s when I was old enough to know what I was watching on the snowy broadcast on UHF TV, know all I need to know about the guy.

But, what he said, and the outcry for his head on stick is utterly ridiculous, and entirely nauseating. Over the top political correctness.

I read that this was the last straw, that it was an accumulation of a bunch of stupid crap he has said behind the scenes and on TV. im not a fan and really won't miss him.

yea, he is a tool, but what he said to cause all this uproar doesn't even hold a candle to what Jeremy Roenicke said earlier this year about Kathryn Tappan. THAT was bad!!

Ive always liked Roenick ....but I don't think he's the sharpest tool in the toolbox
Not really surprised that he said something offensive

Combo platter: Milbury had a few violations, combine that with Roenick (Also NBC), Matt Lauer, et al = zero tolerance.

Seems it's a double standard though does it not?

It does seem that sometimes, some can say what every they want, and there's no repercussions, hit a "narrative" button, and BAM! The sky cracks open.

It could have been worse, Milbury could have beat one of his coworkers live during a game with a shoe . ... I shouldn't be laughing but I am.

Yea ... too bad the video isn't clearer lol. I just looked up the incident. 1979, MSG, Milbury and McNab got a 6 game suspension, O'Reilly got eight games. The Big Bad Bruins.

How about the Islanders! Varlamov is playing great. Hoping they beat out the Flyers.

The Canucks beat the Blues? I may have to watch me some play off hockey.

Yeh! I think just about one more minute of shutout and he'll break Billy Smith's playoff shutout record! Go Isles!
