Default Ovation tuner needed

I need a bass slot-head tuner for an Ovation 1972 or '73 Ovation Classic Balladeer guitar. I have searched the web to no avail. I contacted Ovation who sent a tuner, but it was for a later model and not useable; they claimed not to have a tuner for the model I have. I am led to believe that the tuners for '72-'73 are not identical to those used on later models. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On my early 80's Ovation 12 string slot head I found they used mini Schaller tuning machines. Ovation did send me a couple replacements when they started to fail a few years back. I did find a complete original replacement set on Reverb not too long ago so I have plenty of spares. Sounds like mine wouldn't fit your guitar.

I have several vintage ovation tuners in stock. Send me a message with a pic of the tuners and I’ll check availability.

Black finish. That eliminates any Ovation tuners in my collection.

Thanks. Oh, well, I don't think the finish is important. What's important is that the structure is the same with the screw holes in the right place.

The slothead Schallers I have seen all have offset screw tabs to allow for closer spacing like that on 12 strings.
