The Aura has 4 presets for a 414ce, one of which works very well for my 514ce.

Woody b.....I see you are using a Presonus AcoustiQ....Various pickups ? I use a Sunrise with a Sunrise pre-amp....Do you use your AcoustiQ with any magnetic p/u such as a Sunrise?????? I am looking to "warm it up a bit" but I am not sure how an AcoustiQ will work with a magnetic p/u.........

1996 Taylor 814ce----> K and K Powerblend Pure (Pure Western+ fantastik UST + 2 chaneel preamp in the guitar)-----> 250 watt Fishman Loudbox. As I'm in a new band that is on the verge of buying a PA, I might go from the Fishman into the PA. This is the 4th pickup configuration I've had in this guitar and I'm finally happy. i first had the stock Fishman acoustic matrix UST...Nice but way too quacky. Then I went to the 1st generation PUTW# 27. Beautiful sound very transparent but ungiggable. waytoo quiet even with a PADI cranked. I was alternating between an Ultrasound 50 (also 1st generation) and a fender Acoustisonic. Last year I got the passive M-1 and a Fishman loudbox. The sound is getting better and it was loud enough to gig with, but I couldn't really warm up to the sound of the M-1. The new K and K system is finally everything I wanted to hear. I Like the fact that i can blend both pickups. Right now I'm going straight into the fishman. So far...so good.

I have a friend up here that plays in two very popular acoustic bands that has been using his at gigs on his acoustic archtop. He says it’s the bomb. I mainly got it to record double bass for duo practice... But I’m going to take it to a wedding gig I have Sunday and see how it goes.

I've been doing enough home recording lately with the Josephsons that I'm getting tired of taking apart the recording setup for every gig. So I'm either going to get a third Josephson or just leave the 214 in the gigbag...

Lowden O10 with LR Baggs M1 and K&K PWM into a Raven Labs PMBII. From there into a Roland AC-60 amp. I`m looking for a decent chorus pedal. Undecided between a Boss CE-5 or an EBS Unichorus. Might get rid of the AC-60 for a powered speaker (JBL EON). Not sure yet. I`m not big into amps. I like a nice PA system sound. Also, a nice reverb unit would be added in the future. Nothing to expensive. Maybe a Nanoverb.

Lowden O25C Custom with Sunrise and McIntyre
and for less critical/more worrisome gigs
Silver Creek T160 with Sunrise & jjb 3 bug SBT
to my rack:
Sunrise stereo buffer - Raven PMB1 - Digitech S100, dbx stereo compressor, Korg DTR1000 tuner, furman power conditioner (I usually add a touch of verb, chorus, and compression)
to the PA.

Tube DI? I have been researching the Sunrise pick up. I started looking at a Demeter tube DI when I saw that Lyle Lovett was running his Sunrise through it. I haven't tried it, but I want to. I am wondering how it will work at low, small room volume. I am not sure about it. Would love to get my hands on one to try.

Church setup:

614ce or T5-C1 -> K4 -> Soundboard (Yamaha MC7L)
K4 send -> TU-2 -> Boss LS-2 -> K4 return
LS-2 "A" -> Boss AD-3
LS-2 "B" -> Boss FDR-1

Balanced cable between 614/T5 and K4. Line-out (w/ TRS/XLR) to board.
Having the TU-2 in the K4 Send/Return path allows for muting/tuning.
