Default Kinnaird SJ (2007) EIR/bearclaw sitka, " SOLD, SOLD.

Selling due to health & work issues. I have advertised this before but each time I changed my mind because the guitar is a truly exceptional guitar. My aim is to own just a couple of guitars, maybe one eventually. I play mainly fingerstyle but also like to lightly strum, occasionally. I've decided to keep my Froggy Bottom F14 because it does most things well so this gorgeous guitar has to be sold. I'll just post my UK eBay link & that should do most of the talking. I'd rather sell it in the UK or Europe. But I think any American would be amazed by how little it costs to ship to the USA. The ebay price is £ sold (sterling).

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193046691397

OR $sold to any US buyer!!

Default Bump it up....

Wish I could keep this one but time to offload most of my guitars due to a change in my circumstances. I doubt anyone will be disappointed with this Kinnaird SJ.

Default It's a Stephen Kinnaird SJ.......

Yes, this is a Stephen Kinnaird SJ model. It's a very special guitar & very unique. I've exchanged emails with Steve Kinnaird & he told me a great story about the guitar's first owner. Apparently he regularly played guitar in a small group of musicians. One of the group ordered a new build Kinnaird SJ himself but the original owner of this guitar also secretly ordered a Kinnaird SJ too. But he asked for almost every upgrade imaginable in order to get "one up" on his buddy when they compared guitars. Like Steve said "What are friends for?" If you like bling then there's plenty on this guitar & the bearclaw sitka is absolutely stunning. The photos don't do it justice. I intended keeping this one before my circumstances changed & arranged to replace the black pickguard with a tortoiseshell version. It's the only thing I'd change otherwise this is drop dead gorgeous & acoustically fabulous. It does all styles well with the pick.....and is incredibly good for fingerstyle numbers too. It's a stunning guitar & will make someone very happy indeed.

Default Thanks & bump it up.....

Thanks Rye, you should know...being a previous owner. I'd love to keep this Kinnaird but I need to simplify a lot of things in my life now. So bump it up again.
PS. Apologies to those who have enquired about my Tippin OMT but I'm still deliberating on that one. I've had serious doubts about letting it go, like this Kinnaird....but a decision on that one is very imminent.

Default CITES certification & $4,000US new price

I've listed this in the Rest of The World section hoping someone in the EU might notice it. I think Kinnaird guitars are very little known in Europe so most of the previous enquiries have come from the USA. I've recently had an eye opening experience with CITES so I've done some digging around & come up with this proposal to any prospective American buyers. I've discovered a bone fide organisation in the UK who will process all CITES applications & it costs only £109. If someone in the USA was genuinely interested in buying this fabulous Kinnaird SJ then I would sell the guitar for $4,000US & would meet half the CITES costs. Shipping to the USA costs approx £130.
