Default Wide neck composite?

Do any of the brands beside the Emerald Custom make a wide neck? 1 13/16 or 1 7/8 inch nut? I seem to remember the Rainsong Al Pettaway model did but the web site specs don’t reflect that.

I just checked the LA Guitar Sales web site, and both the APSE and APLE have 1.75" nut width listed, like all the other Rainsong models. Having played an APLE fairly recently in Tucson, it felt just like any other Rainsong NS neck.

Apart from ordering an Emerald, the only thing I could suggest is finding a used WS-3000 twelve string (1-7/8" nut width) and converting it to a six string. These are out of production and scarce, but are out there. Or the truly rare CA twelve string, of which I've only ever seen two in the wild.

You can get a Composite Acoustics GX with a 1-3/4" neck width, which is actually the regular version. If you want 1-11/16" you order the "Narrow neck" model.

Leviora has 46mm nut width which is 1.811024 inches
That's not quite 1-13/16 which is 1.8125 inches

That's hard to find even in wood guitars. I'm surprised there is another option (Leviora) with the limited number of CF manufacturers.

Bill,

There’s an X20 on reverb.com with a claimed custon 1.9” nut width. Asking price is in the high range imo, but the seller appears open to offers.

Thought ai’d mention it, Mark.

My Rainsong Shorty SG has a very hand-filling neck with a 1.75" width at the nut. It's way more comfortable for me than most acoustics I've played.
