I don't think lusting would be the best word for it, but I've been on the lookout for an electric for those pieces where an electric might be the best choice. And also, just for a little fun on the dark side.

Although I started on acoustic and have ended up sticking with acoustic as my first choice, I've had many electrics over the years, ranging from professional models to knockoffs of very dubious quality...all gone now.

Well, the almost-lusting ended a couple of weeks ago with the purchase of a used Squire Affinity Strat at a remarkable price.
I've already blocked off the tremolo and when I get around to it, I may do a few other upgrades. For my purposes, it'll do just fine.

I did for a while, and owned some good ones,but I just sold all of my electrics and amps and bought a Collings mandolin instead.

I recently sold an American Tele and an Epiphone Les Paul Ultra but I still have my custom built Les Paul, customized American Strat and Taylor T5z. All are great guitars, fun to play and will they never leave. Boys need their toys and you need the right tool for every job.
