New John Doyle Solo CD, "Shadows and Light"

Got my copy of John Doyle's new CD yesterday, "Shadows and Light". All original songs and instrumentals and it is certainly up to par with his other solo releases. He is a very inventive player and singer if you are not familiar with his work. He takes a very traditional baseline and blends in other elements that give you something new but still recognizable as traditional. He's sort of a Irish Tony Rice in capability and sensibility.
