Default "blue Eyes Crying In The Rain"

This is my rendition of an old classic. Easy to play. Sweet for fingerpicking. Pretty much the way I play it in coffeehouses and bars.......Thanks to all the fine folks who visit this site and listen to those of us who do videos. http://www.youtube.com/user/TheMisso...r?feature=mhee

Hi Gary - I haven't heard this great old song in quite a long while and you did a fine rendition. I enjoyed it!

I can see you picking this on a lakeshore with calm water. Very nice job on this, nice vocal and nice fingering too.

Good stuff Larry. I'm most familiar with Willie's version but I like the folk/country feel of this one. I imagine that when Fred wrote it, it was similar to the way you play it. Really enjoyed it.

This is the first song I ever learned to solo! Always been a big Willie fan.

Larry,

This is one of the best tunes ever written. Loved it! Used to play it in a band but I didn't sing it the other guitarist did. Nevertheless its a classic fav. Always liked the way Willie sings and plays behind the beat, his timing is unique, sorta like Tony Bennett's is.
Great job in reviving it here buddy, love the way you played and sang it buddy!

noledog

btw gotta love the old school capo your usin' too

Wow....thanks for all the nice words. Again, that's one of the really nice things about this forum. YES, at times there is a lot, perhaps too much arguing over guitars, BUT, most people in here are just trying to communicate their thoughts about music and guitars. ........Thanks for the suggestion about being a fingerpicking machine, but I know better...lol.....My motto is "If's it's slow enough I can fingerpick it."........Thanks to everyone for making this a cool place....especially this section of the forum. Really cool.
