Default 2016 7-string Archtop Build Refinished to Original Intent

Hi folks, I thought I would throw this up out on the stoop. I built this Benedetto style copy in 2016 but due to deadlines just threw a blonde french polish on it.
My ideal finish would have been something along these lines.
The finish is a varnish and was not done by me as I don't prefer learning a complex varnish finish on my own instrument or anyone elses.
It was done by K.C. Strings in Kansas, a string repair shop and specifically a gent named Anton.
It is a 7 string and with the new bridges which is the last step, I will have options for a High A string or a Low B.
It has longitudinal braces.
Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard and Granadillo Headplate.
Does anyone prefer a compensated nut on archtops, I assume those that do prefer them on everything.
Cheers!
