2011 Rockbridge Custom Slope D
I have a one-of-a-kind 2011 Rockbridge Custom Slope Shoulder Dreadnought. This rare and beautiful 25” scale guitar features Honduran rosewood back and sides with the heartwood being featured on the center of its back. This tonally superior tonewood is harder than Indian rosewood and it gives the guitar a rich complex tone with very nice resonance, shimmer, and sustain. It is finished in a water-based lacquer for better transference of vibration and has an enlarged soundhole to reduce microphone woofing. The top is nicely grained Adirondack spruce supported by Adirondack bracing. The neck is mahogany with an ebony fretboard; a 1/3/4” bone nut; and Waverly tuners with small ivoroid buttons. The peghead is overlaid with ebony sporting an abalone Rockbridge insignia and a beautifully inlaid bluebird. There is an inlaid maple leaf on the 12th fret of the fretboard as well. The guitar has an ebony bridge with a compensated bone saddle, a small maple bridge plate, and fossilized ivory bridge pins. The neck and body are bound in tortoise binding. The guitar is in very nice condition and comes with a TKL hardshell case.
