Default Bronze vs Phosphor bronze (audio samples)

Hi everyone, I just made a comparison between the sound of Bronze strings vs Phosphor bronze strings. In the description box is the time for each part .

If you click , you can go directly to each part.

That was a nice comparison. I can hear positives in each choice depending on the guitars that I might be using them on. I like that you did a variety of strumming and fingerpicking and left enough space to let each sample settle in.

Best,
Jayne

You're doing sterling work sir, however if I can offer a suggestion. When you're doing comparisons you need to switch between the compared items quickly, so the sound of the previous item is still fresh in your head when you start the new item. This is a video editing task.

Here's a good example:

Nice job! I preferred the p bronze on your guitar but have never liked them when I used them in the past. Just goes to show that every guitar is different.

GHS makes a White Bronze string that to me is much better sounding that either Bronze or Phosphor Bronze. I would be curious to see what you think of those. I am working with them to get them made in loop end so I can keep them on my mandolin without having to take off the ball ends from the guitar stings. They are a great sounding string and last much longer with even sound.
