Default GR Bear Guitars at La Conner

Anybody else notice the three beautiful guitars with interesting bracing by Gypsy Rye Bear at La Conner?

12 fret with cutaway. Georgious workmanship, special wood (highly flamed Australian blackwood back) interesting carbon fibre/wood top bracing.

Gypsy Rye Bear, a very nice chap, also has the coolest name.

Unfortunately I can't get pictures to post so here is his website:

Those look beautiful! And he named his first kid Koa - that's pretty cool too.

Gorgeous guitar.

I got to spend some time talking to Rye at his table. Very nice guy, cool falcate bracing, nice sounding instruments.

Here’s a guitar and a close up of the rosette.

Bonus Ben Wilborn sneaking in the side of the frame and the back of a pensive Paul Woolson.
