FT/FS: New Guild GAD M-120 w/hardshell case
Well ok, "technically" (as my 10-year-old son would say) it's not new. I bought it brand new about 3 weeks ago and had it professionally set up (including replacement of the doubtful "synthetic bone" nut and saddle with the real thing - beautiful). In other words, just enough time to realize that the neck (1 11/16 at the nut) is just too slim for my novice fingers to do any good fingerpicking with. So I'm looking ideally to trade for a nice 0-body/concert acoustic with a wider neck. I look forward to hearing from you! Here's a link to the photos: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjD5qVfC

I love that little guitar. I have the M120E myself, the nut is a tad slimmer than I would prefer, but at the price I paid for it you can't beat it. It takes a few days to get used to, I'm pretty flexible about guitars. I know other guys are anal about the spacing though. I just wanted to give you a little bump and let the buyers know that it's a great little guitar. It sounds so much bigger than it really is, perfect size for being lazy on the couch too

Thanks, sorry about that!
Well I bought it new last month for $529 + tax from a local (Massachusetts) dealer. I paid $100 for a supreme setup. That included replacement of synthetic nut and bridge with bone, and nice ebony pins with pearl inlays (and resulted in fantastic low action sans buzz). So I'd value it now, "used" (barely!) at say $450 not including shipping. Again, my hope is to trade it for a nice 0-body with a slightly wider (wider than 1 11/16") nut. Thanks again! |

Trade it for a Larrivee OM-05MT. Same guitar. 1 3/4 nut. Wonderful sound.
Well, probably not for $450...

Wow that Larivee looks beautiful but I'm afraid the OM body size is just "bigger enough" that my shoulder and elbow will be angry at me. Hence the wish for an 0-body. Thank you for your interest though!
