CA Cargo - Cleaning Fretboard
I'm about to restring my CA Cargo. But before that, I'd like to clean the fretboard and was wondering whether I should use a fretboard oil (I use Fret Doctor) or just wipe it off with a damp cloth since the material is not wood.

I just used rubbing alcohol on my Cargo.

I think a damp clean cotton rag would be a good choice. Maybe a drop or two of liquid soap if it's really grungy.

beeing it is an injected molded pice that is not wood but a carbon type composite either the rubbing alcohol or just warm water maybe soap would clean it. if it got REALLY grundgy simple green!

The few I've had in were cleaned with naptha and SM Preservation Polish.
