Default CA Cargo - Cleaning Fretboard

I'm about to restring my CA Cargo. But before that, I'd like to clean the fretboard and was wondering whether I should use a fretboard oil (I use Fret Doctor) or just wipe it off with a damp cloth since the material is not wood.

I think a damp clean cotton rag would be a good choice. Maybe a drop or two of liquid soap if it's really grungy.

beeing it is an injected molded pice that is not wood but a carbon type composite either the rubbing alcohol or just warm water maybe soap would clean it. if it got REALLY grundgy simple green!
