Who's Got The Most Guitars?
Only real AGF people may apply. No superstars allowed.
I see where one person has forty guitars. Who of us has the most guitars? Please respond if you think you have a shot at this title. .

We had a member who owned over seventy. I haven't seen her post in a while. Probably too busy cleaning and changing strings.

I've only got three guitars, but I've got 14 vehicles.
Can I play? LOL! |

Depends what you call a guitar ... Weissenborn? Dobro?
Regardless, nowhere as many as some.

I was at a guitar show in April and was talking to a gentleman who said he owned 37. Also said he wasn't married.
I can't even come close to wishing about that many.

I find that when I get past a certain number, usually around 5 or 6, I go into selling mode...

LOL!!
Yes, yes it is. As for guitars, I was once as high as 37, but I was mildly involved in the vintage market at the time. Most of the guitars were purchased as investments and not as players. I do drive (or ride) all of my vehicles pretty regularly, though... |

I'm down to 4 in the house, 1 at the office and 1 currently on consignment. I think that the most I have ever owned at one time is 7. Total owned over my lifetime so far is 19. Since retirement is looming, another one will not come in until one goes out.

Here's my list that includes acoustic, electric, bass, and resonator (45). I have several others not listed that I've accumulated, earmarked to give away to kids (and sometimes adults) that can't afford a guitar.
