I loooooved that hog guitar, and this is an homage to that, with some unobtainium wood, so I'm really looking forward to it as well....

Apart from looking super cool, what are the tiger stripes for Matthew? Maybe just to "one up" Juston, or do his Brondels have them too?

Here is my prediction: this will be awesome, I just received a Pernambuco Brondel 2c and like it a lot. Also, I was able to play Juston's at Artisan and thought it was wonderful as well. I have two Pernambuco guitars and believe it might be my favorite wood.

I like the ribbon side reinforcements. Should lighten up the build, and sure look cool!

You need a sound port so you can admire them while playing! Hahaha

I have cheetah prints in one, but my Brondels are totally pedestrian other than that. Laurent told me, “plain details for a plain man.”

Well you can add me to the list. I'm test driving a Brondel A2 Pernambuco that I'm having trouble putting down. First Pernambuco guitar I've ever played and I might agree Jim that it is quickly becoming my favorite tone wood. Such a light build, so fun to play and a vibe that I've never experienced with any other guitar. If you don't absolutely love your new Brondel then please PM me, lol.

There's been a major run on pernambuco with Laurent this year. I agree with your prediction. Too nice a guitar considering the buyer, though.
