What a cool photo! Thanks for sharing!

Wow! I'm feeling much better about myself, with 8 guitars and 8 mandolins. Not even close to some of you! And I've not bought any new instruments in over a year (although I still look!)

There is no art in accounting, no righteousness in possession.

(ie, I'm not telling you.)

I’m at 32 guitars (I think) 8 banjos, 4 mandolins, 2 mountain dulcimers, cittern, octave mandolin, walkabout dulcimer, ukulele

50 instruments in all not counting the keyboard I attach to my computer.

Drawn the line at 12. Superstitious, I suppose.

Might as well jump in, this reminds me of introductions at therapy support group.

Just had a count up and think its 48 right now ( might have missed some )

Thats 19 acoustics ( Sobell, Martin x4 , Bourgeois, HJ Williams, Collings x2, Lowden, Gibson, Lakewood, Taylor Nylon strung, Northwood x3 Larrivee x2, Fylde )

27 Electrics ( Gibson x10, Fender x6, Suhr, G&L, PRS x5, Yamaha x3, Gretsch )

2 Fender basses

plus 1 beautiful 18C Violin.

Depending on what I'm busy with, I do find that they get used either in the studio or out on the road.

43 instruments on my Heritage policy. When I hit 27, I had to buy a bigger house.

I have one acoustic guitar, one open canoe, one fly fishing rod, one road bike, one mirrorless camera and I've only ever had one wife... I am one perfectly happy man.

Wow! Thanks buddy, I am truly flattered.
But I don't think I make the cut. Who's counting anyway.

Thanks for sharing this GG. Thought I'd make clip before I start 'thinning the herd' .
Here's the family shot taken last year. Added a few more since.

Default 28

When my used American tele get's here today or tomorrow. (Hey...it has a humbucker in the bridge so it's different!!)...I'll have 28. I'm currently trying to lower that. I sold 2 guitars last week and I've got 2 great Martins at Carter Vintage for sale. AND, since the addition of my John Mayer and my M5M I may move the Taks and the one remaining Taylor...haven't decided.....I'm also about to sell my SG and my Les Paul...I've decided I'm a Tele guy....
