Default Nux AC80 Stageman II or other?

Hi

After seing lots of Youtube reviews and reading many posts on AF, I'm almost decided to get the Nux AC80 Stageman II. I will mostly use it to play at home. I know that unplugged it outputs 40W and has plenty of configurable options, both from the amplifier and from the app.

I'm looking for an amp that will reproduce the natural sound of the guitar.

I was almost decided on the Fishman Loudbox but saw some reviews, and the Nux seemed to have a 'cleaner?' sound.

Should I consider other amplifiers, or is the Nux a good option?

Thanks!

No, it will not reproduce the natural sound of your guitar. It will not reproduce the sound of your pickups either. But you might like what it does and how it sounds.

Reproducing the sound of your guitar is having a good quality mic and a good quality full frequency speaker. And a really good guitar does not hurt.

You also need to consider that every bell and whistle added to a product that is geared to a price point makes cutting corners somewhere else necessary. The same features in pro quality gear will likely cost you two grand.

But let me say again, you can have a lot of fun with gizmos.

Thanks for your reply.

I was also considering the 'Udo Roesner Da Capo 75', this one cost 3 times more than the Nux.

This is probably a silly question.

Comparing the Da Cap and the Nux, would I notice much difference playing at low volume? (Playing at home)

Or would at higher volumen is when I would start to notice the better quality of the Da Capo?
