Default The Story of “Graceland” as told by Paul Simon

Was just listening to the Graceland album on Spotify and this 9 minute monologue by Paul Simon was included. Very interesting, amazing and insightful. Please check it out.

PLEASE watch the documentary Under African Skies, about the genesis of Graceland (and the subsequent Rhythm of the Saints), and the its initial acclaim followed by a very undeserved backlash

Somehow inexplicably it didn't get a nom for an Oscar as Best Documentary, which is weird. A great tale of brother musicians just making music and trying their best to shut out all the political distractions.
