Taylor K14CE - JT's Millworker
This isn't something I do and I only have my iPhone to record with. But I got a 2002 Taylor K14CE on Tuesday and decided to record a song as a reference before I hit it with a ToneRite (it hadn't been played in quite a while). While this is far from perfect, I decided I'd post it here anyway.
I read a lot about all koa guitars and was concerned about how it would sound, but I love it. Not bright. Quite warm actually and very balanced. I'm really pleased with it. https://youtu.be/AIrlAUC6xB4 Last edited by DavidE; 11-15-2018 at 09:24 PM. |

That recording is better than you realize. Very nice song, beautiful guitar. Play it often.

It’s JT’s arrangement, though I play a bit more to fill in some space since there’s no band and I wasn’t amplified. |
