Happy Birthday! At least you will know it is "acclimated" to its new environment by the time you open it up.
There is no way I could wait that long to open the box. But I don't normally celebrate my birthday anyway.

Although I'm a cocobolo fan of the Emerald woodies, I gotta say that the quilted maples with various color offerings are outstanding. Enjoy Matt!

And for future reference, a few decades ago, I went to having a "birthday season," so there could be a two-week period of my family adoring me.

i had considered a more exotic wood but I'm a sucker for figured maple.

So how's the pickup? Is it able to capture the resonance of the X7?
