Johns sale to American Tonewoods seems to have been fairly recent and American may be a recent startup. This may be why they don't come up on line without a little digging.

It's definitely a recent thing because I was waiting for John to get back from holiday break to order some Carp tops. I'm sure it's all good though.

We were in West Virginia camping this summer so it was decided to visit John Preston at Old World Tonewoods. Spent about 30-45 minutes talking with John while he showed us around, we had a great time. He made no mention of selling of the fretted instrument inventory, although he did say that the bowed instrument side was a little stronger for him lately. I wish John the best, he's a true gentleman.
