DIY Bass Traps Day
I'm in the midst of revamping my little recording space.
I just blew Grandma's Xmas money on some Oktava Mk-012 mics.. So I decided to do little "project"... (but I have no idea if they will even work.. I found a couple websites and youtube with great info .. went to Lowes Hardware and they had the wood.. They even cut it exactly how I needed it for free. Went to Fabric store for some felt.. Will be wrapping these tomorrow. Anyway,, Not too hard and I think they will turn out great. I can post the Youtube video that I watched ...if anyone's interested. This is how far I got today. |

Thanks, that's a lot easier than the one I had. It used MDF sheets cut to specs. this is easier.

Finished the first one today.
Had fun building! . Filled the frame with 2 layers of the 3" Rockwool Safe n sound. Then attached the back frame ... Next I covered with charcoal colored felt.. Last edited by JakeStone; 12-21-2018 at 07:00 PM. |
