Exclamation Beginner issues with Ultimate Guitar

Since I am a beginner...actually not sure I will ever NOT be a beginner LOL...anyway, I am having trouble with Ultimate Guitar and am wondering if I am either A missing something or B need to use a different site.

I am practicing several songs currently, none of which I have memorized yet...but just because I don't have them memorized doesn't mean I still won't pull my guitar out for friends and muscle my way through a good ole classic.

In Ultimate Guitar, they often just have the first verse and the chorus labeled with chords and each verse after that is just the words which means I have to scroll back and forth refreshing my memory on the chords/words.

Any suggestions where I can find whole songs with the chord notations above?

Just enter the song name followed by the word chords in any search engine and you'll find a ton. Some that come to mind:

www.azchords.com
www.chordie.com
www.e-chords.com

I should have added, I am often in an area on the weekends with no internet. I know I know...sounds impossible but its true.

I guess internet is going to be crucial for this huh?

If you join Chordie (Free), I think you can cut and paste into a doc, or print out and even transpose to your key of choice. Print some in advance and hit the woods!

For a carry along, I'd also suggest one of many possible Fake Books. For example:
