The Bose T1 (and undoubtedly the T4s) are great little boxes - I was asked to play Xmas carols last week for a Zoom party, and using the T1 for 2 guitars and 2 mics, going out usb into my laptop for Zoom broadcast sounded great. I had been using it to run mics thru 3 channels then out to the PA , with my guitar plugged into the 4th, and output thru the aux - but it got put aside for a while -
I’ve since bought a Zoom L12, so I could handle 4 mics, 3 instruments ins, and still output to Zoom via USB while also recording each channel raw onto the internal SD card - it has the ability to output 5 different monitor mixes, which really attracted me (plus the 20% off holiday code!) - it’s pretty sweet -

The Stompmix 4 gets mixed reviews here on the AGF in terms of sound quality and requires line level on two of the inputs, the Bose T1 doesn't have pan or high pass features, the Bose T4S doesn't have the preamp-out feature that the Bose T1 had, etc. I guess the QSC Touchmix would do the trick, but that's quite an expensive choice. The Bose stuff is pretty expensive as well; and overall, most people recommend the Felix or Sunnaudio preamp blenders over the Bose for sound quality, so personally I would buy an MS-2 before I bought a Bose T4S. What did you decide on? |

Same with mine. However I know nothing that comes close with the same form factor.

What does it profit a man to gain the world of mixing if he loses his gain? Lol

Digital mixers are pretty hard to beat for the features they offer in a small footprint. On a related note, another interesting pedal is the Baggs Voiceprint, not for it's mixing capabilities, but for it's EQ. That option alone makes me want to buy one; add to that the Voiceprint IRs and it's small size, and it seems to be a nice addition to your mini-mixer as a way to tailor the sound of a third input. Cheers! |
