Bruce, I hope some of your clients decide to share their new instruments with the forum (particularly their playing impressions). Short of that, I hope that you post a “Sexauer/2021” thread to let us observe over your shoulder while you work in your shop...

Bruce, I'll second that request for a 2021 thread. My two Sexauers have been stellar.

As far as incoming commissions, I have a Stefan Sobell 40th Anniversary MS MkIII model in Brazilian RW and european spruce coming in the first couple months of the new year.

I actually have 2 custom guitars on order that should be done sometime this year. The first is a Franklin BRW/German OM from Nick Kukich. He has plans to start it in February.
The second is a Bastogne Walnut/redwood OM from a local luthier, Rick Kneale, which should also be ready sometime this year.

I am so glad to hear your report, Tim. So many guitars go off never to be heard from again. Anti-climactic for me after the intense relationship that generally gestates the guitar.

My habit of sharing my process in the forums has become pretty ingrained, and is very likely to continue through 2021: Happy New Year!!!

Just move my Beau Hannam 12-fret 00 from 2020 delivery to 2021... things took longer than expected! But it should be soon.

I’m counting four Fairbanks builds, not three... but then, who’s counting?

Rick
