****ed Old Dusty Road - original tune
https://vimeo.com/490106174
I wrote this song a few years ago. It depicts life in rural Indiana in the late 40s thru the 50s. While the lyrics are not completely true, the story represents life conditions for many of our friends and neighbors during that era. I hope you enjoy it. Played on a Gibson J45, which suits the mood of the tune perfectly. Thanks for listening. Rb |

Hi Roger,
I enjoyed this! Well done! Your J45 sounds good in your hands, your singing is very pleasant, and I can identify with your song. I went to college in Indiana and spent some time roaming the dusty roads outside of the university. I hope you have a peaceful Christmas season, Roger. Stay safe! - Glenn

Thanks Glenn. I’ve noted that original songs can be a tough sell on forums...or maybe it doesn’t warrant more listeners. Either way, I think I’ll abstain from now on.
What university did you attend? I hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas. Roger |
