Default Percussive flamenco rumba in DADGAD

This is my first post. I found this site while searching for DADGAD used in different than usual contexts. Here's a rumba with influences from North Africa and a little early blues.

Tough crowd...

I updated the link to a higher quality version. First version was mono-panned left and had syncing issues.

That's a very unique way of playing in DADGAD. I can definitely hear the North African and blues influences. I enjoyed listening to it. Thanks for posting!

Thanks! For a while there I thought that my post was either invisible or maybe my playing style was out-of-line with this community. After checking out a lot of other clips, I'd say the latter is somewhat true.

Welcome to the forum. Nice playing. Forum replies vary and quite often hard to figure out the reasons.
Best not to be defensive. There is a Classical guitar section of the forum to might also consider posting
your recordings on.

It seems that the "General Acoustic Guitar Discussion" is much more popular than the other sections of AGF, so it may take awhile for your post to be seen. Now, if you started a thread on the general section about "Which guitar should I buy?" or "What's your favorite brand of strings?", you would probably get dozens of responses within the first hour.

Welcome to AGF and don't be shy about posting more samples of your playing!
