Welcome to the club, there are plenty of people here with the same story, myself included. I won't add to the confusion by adding another guitar to the list. Of the three I would go with the Yamaha. As far as the F chord, I found my most successful approach was to not get stalled out worrying whether it sounded good or not. I played it badly and eventually it got good. Don't avoid it, I believe in hitting things like that head on. I don't know how one goes through life avoiding a major first position chord.

I’ve worked on it and am getting better and better. I’d love to add key of C to the list of keys that I play a lot. Being able to play Key Bb open with Key of C chords with my guitar tuned down a step (which my Hog and Classic Black are) instead of G chords with Capo - 5 or 3 would be great.
