Man oh man I can imagine the tone from this thing. I have an OM from John in ziricote and adi that I’m pondering selling ONLY bc of some ongoing hand issues. Certainly not for tone!!!

Play in good health my friend!

Flat out gorgeous guitar.

I'll bet it's sheer bliss to play that thing.

Congratulations.

A friend of mine has one of these. I had a chance to play it briefly a while back. I cannot unsee it or unhear it. Wonderful guitar.

Looks fantastic! John makes some of the best guitars available. Enjoy it.

I was. going to come up with some snarky, joking comment. But can't.
That guitar is too cool, from a favorite builder!

Enjoy!

It's been 6+ months now.

This guitar is so much more articulate and responsive than anything I've played. It took a while to learn how to bring out it's best, how to speak the guitar's language, so to speak. I had settled into using fingerpicks 100% of the time but this guitar suggests setting them aside, particularly if I'm singing. Open tunings, blues, singer songwriting stuff ... Maybe just maybe the perfect guitar for me.

Sometimes I question having so much of my guitar capital tied up in one guitar. Much more often, I dream about selling all the other guitars and asking John to conjure up a 000 12 fret in maple.

A maple 000?

Heck yeah! You only go around once, right?

Hope this helps.

I can’t hear it, but if it sounds even half as good as it looks, it’s magnificent. I hope you play it for years to come.

It's a beautiful guitar. Really gorgeous. I know it makes me a freak but Lord, I hate these tuners. With a passion. Absolutely find them horrendous.
