You certainly have me beat with my MEASLY 3 Cargos.
However, right now I bet I could get three rolls of toilet paper for them in trade.

I’ve had my ‘08 Cargo (charcoal, road tough finish) since new back then and I’ll never part with it.

Yes, it does. Jimi Hendrix posed the question "Are you experienced?" back in the 60s. He even wrote a song about it and named a whole album for it. You are experienced, having played a Cargo.

I thought we were doing a folk song... "If I had five Cargos, I'd Cargo in the morning. I'd Cargo in the evening, all over this land..."

Now we're getting somewhere.

Sweet! A lot of sound comes out of that small bodied cargo. That same day I played a cargo for the first time is also when I first played a CA Gx for the first time and that guitar left such an impression on me that I continued to search for one with a 1 3/4" nut width. I'm surprised that they're not talked about more on this subforum.

It is good to hear some of your music again, PK. It has been some time since the old MacNicol forum.

I cannot help but hear the tune of "If I Had a Million Dollars" by Barenaked Ladies when I see this topic. All together now.... "If I had myself five cargos.....".

There was a time around 10 years ago when CA was all the rage. It was still pretty early in the CF game. I still own an ‘08 Cargo since new, then an ‘08 GXi (offset soundhole) for about 3 years. The GXi was nice, albeit a little heavy compared to what’s come along since. Under Peavey, it seems that CA stopped innovating where others have and continue to. As a result, they seem to have fallen under the radar...at least in this neck of the interwoods.
