"Mexico" James Taylor cover
This is our cover of Mexico.
Always a fun song to do. We're a little quicker in tempo than the original, but we mostly tried to keep it close to the James Taylor original version. Acoustic Guitar is RainSong H DR1000. (stays in tune) (capo 4) Sound is Fishman Loudbox, mixed signal out to Powered EV 1200 speakers. Percussion is BeatBuddy Mini (a great tool for practice or performance) The verses are played in C structure. The Chorus is in D structure.(capo 4 which makes it key of E & F#)

Sounds good! My wife heard it and said that sounds fast. Lol. I told her it was intentional. I need to mess with my Beat Buddy.

The Beat Buddy adds a lot! The tempo I selected was Bosa 125 but you can slow it down with a turn of the dial. Mexico is a fun song to do. Thank you for listening in.
