Default New CF 12-String Guitar Enroute...

I just got word from Sean at Avenue Guitars https://www.avenueguitars.com in Colorado Springs, CO that my special order Rainsong CO-JM3100NT arrived and is now enroute to me; I wanted to share the cell phone pictures that he snapped. BTW these pictures make the Tobacco Burst appear lighter than the deeper "Copper Burst" that it really resembles...

Boy, you’re hard to keep up with!

Wasn’t there a satin six-string Emerald X20 in the mix recently, or am I thinking of someone else?

Regardless, I’ll be interested to hear how your new Rainsong contrasts with your Emerald X20-12.

I do have to say that Rainsong sunbursts just don’t float my boat. Never been a fan of that guitar pick style. But that’s just me.

Someone else although I may have mentioned something about pairing one with my Satin X20-12 when Jrh previously posted about the Satin X20 that he'd ordered...

Beautiful!

That looks like the jumbo model, or am I wrong? Just wondering about that CO in the model name where I would expect JM.

Thanks, and you're absolutely right. I added the "JM".....

Aah - that’s my confusion. I knew there was one out there somewhere.

My apologies to RP. Maybe I need a spreadsheet or something to keep track of all this

The Rainsong finishes seem to continually improve. That looks great. Sean is great to deal with! Congrats, looking forward to your ANGD post.

That looks awesome - and the burst is only a modest up charge - it baffles me why RainSong’s website doesn’t do a better job of letting people know about these nice options.

Oh and for my very unique fingerstyle, RainSong jumbos might have the best tone of any 14 fret guitar I’ve played yet. My Nashville jumbo can give my 12 fret D-28 a run for it on most days.

Many congrats and enjoy- please report back!

Thanks and I agree completely with Rainsong's vow of silence about options for their guitars...
