Default New Furch on the way..... The wait begins

I pulled the trigger on this new old stock Furch Gc-CR that Brickhouse Guitars was selling. I was hoping I'd find an NOS without the barn door electronics. IslandGuitar (Fred) gave me the link to the guitar and if Llew didn't post about his OM on the way I'd never have would have bought from Brickhouse. Thanks to Fred and Llew for the assist!

10-15 day wait though for the combined Canadian/US postal services to deliver.

I'm looking forward to receiving this one. I've been gassing for one for a couple years now.

Very nice. For lack of a better term it looks like a very elegant guitar. I know the waiting is no fun. I bought a 00017 from a fellow member. Will be here tomorrow.

Glad to help Barry! My Boucher is due in on Friday if all goes according to plan? I was reading about Roger Schmidt and his influence on Furch to bring their guitars to North America. I'm curious about the Furch/Stone Bridge relationship and the new line (Avenir) from Stone Bridge which sound a lot like an old Lowden I used to own (O-22c). Same headstock shape as Furch and Stone Bridge.
Anyway...congrats in advance on your Furch Barry. Hope it's a keeper!

Congratulations Barry, I think you'll be very happy. I've got pretty much the identical guitar from two years earlier and it's a keeper.

Glad to hear that Ed! I played a Furch spruce dread a while ago and loved it so this should really do it for me.

Barry, that has to be the longest road to a NGD in AGF history! So glad you finally found what you’re looking for! Can’t wait to hear some recordings with your new Furch!
