Default Eastman Craftsmanship and My Observations... The guy with the poll...

Hello folks,

My journey continues. I would like to start of with an apology on one of my threads two weeks ago that contained some "Sailor" innuendos. I shall keep my tone down. Please know that I always respect your open and honest feedback. Our moderator contacted me and was very kind in giving me some rudder orders.

So -- I was going to get the Dakota Burst Eastman AC722CE, then saw the AC622CE (what I belive is a special run on the Maple Leaf inlays) to go with the Flamed Maple B/S with a Spruce Top.

This guitar arrived last night is absolultely geourgous.

It is such high quality craftsmanship that I would never had known since I joined here in January of this year. The detail for the price rivals anything I researched on the internets for $$$$ less.

I conditioned the stings and frets, the action is just right, it arrived tuned down a 1/2 step on every string (wow, what a concept).

I have been playing late last night and this evening. Let me tell you. This is no Martin. I have one. This is not a Martin. But -- it is very nice in its own way and that was my main reason for selecting it. The flamed Maple B/S is very very bright. I love this guitar and can't put it down.

I guess in closing, I want my guitarsenal to be diversified. Now I have a all solid MOHG and a solid Spruce and Flamed Maple.

Pic follow. I acquired this after much research brand new for $1790 USD.

Congrats! I went all-in on Eastman about 4-5 years ago, and they have only gotten better. And you're right... it's no Martin, nor is Taylor, Gibson, Larrivee, Guild, and the list goes on. Guitars should stand on their own qualities, and Eastman does it very well.

If I were to own an ACxxx GA model, it would probably be the one you picked. I love my AC630-BD, which is their Maple Jumbo.

Looks like a cool guitar! I had an ac322ce for a while and sold it just because it was a bit redundant and I was getting a d-18. Now that the d-18 has arrived I can tell you the Eastman was right up there with it in tone and build. I kind of regret selling it but they did have a very similar tone, which is surprising since I was assuming the d-18 to have loads more bass which it doesn’t.
I’m about to maybe order a e2-om-cd so I can at least have one Eastman in my herd. The quality is up there for sure!

Congratulations, very cool guitar. I've played a number of Eastman's and none have disappointed. Bought my son an Eastman for a graduation present. Their quality, fit and finish, etc., well exceeds the price point IMO. Just really nice guitars. Congrats and enjoy that beauty.

Those guys at Eastman sure know how to make a great guitar. And not just a few; their consistency in build and sound is remarkable.

I currently own an E100-Ltd (00 12-fretter in Adirondack and sapele) and an E20-OM-TC (Adirondack and rosewood). They're probably the two best acoustic guitars I've ever owned.
