I'll Fly Away - fingerpicked gospel tune
A friend's mother passed away this week and I was asked to record some songs for next weeks funeral service. This song has been a favorite of mine for years.
Played on a Santa Cruz Style 1 in dropped-D tuning, recorded on a Zoom R16 using a single Rode NT1 microphone, minimal processing in Audacity.
