My Christmas Contributions
Here are two of the Christmas contributions I've made to "Show & Tell" over the past few years.
First is a multi-tracked version of "What Child is this". I'm using my Taylor 322ce 12-fret for rhythm and lead, and added in an octave mandolin to double the melody in some spots. It's loosely based on the version that appears as a hidden track on Michael Hedges' "Oracle" CD. The bass & drum accompaniment is courtesy of a Trio + looper. Next is a solo fingerstyle medley of St. Basils Hymn and Coventry Carol. This is again using the Taylor 322ce 12 Fret, and is based on Malcom Dalglish's hammered dulcimer version of St. Basil and Lorena McKennitt's Coventry Carol.
