The hybrid provides a nice middle ground for acoustic and electric tones. I haven't played an Acoustasonic yet.

Beautifully done, Aaron. I was initially interested in this guitar but the acoustic renditions I heard from Fender didn't do much for me. This sounds much better. The electric tones always sounded more electric-y to me so it was the acoustic side holding me back. Might have to ride this one at a Guitar Center after all.

Thanks. The electric tones are really great. You have to choose your acoustic tones carefully and they can benefit from a good acoustic amp/EQ. I compared them to a recording and they were very close. Just less body and a little sizzle on the high end (which will cut through well on stage). I’m very impressed with the guitar so far.

This is brilliant, simple but with a nice (and humorous) twist!

And yes, effective. Hadn't really thought about trying one until now.

This is the first demo I've seen that made this guitar sound like it might be worth the price.

Aaron, given its tone in your video, I'd consider buying a Fender Acoustasonic!

Great job! I bought one about 6 weeks ago, taking it to its first gig tomorrow as a backup.

That is a great video! I think I've gotten a similar reaction to my new spruce veneer topped RainSong. No longer are guitarists looking for reasons why it does not sound like a nice dreadnought. It seems to work even when they know it is a CF guitar with a veneer.

The power of suggestion is strong in us!

I was thinking the same (I have an original T5), but the Taylor sure looks better. I also have an Emerald X10 with level 2 pickups (6 individual piezos and a Krivo humbucking pickup) - great variety of tones with that guitar.

Only have the Strat right now. I had issues with the Tele last year that have now been corrected.

Yes I’m talking about the day one guitars last year and even then some were fine. Any Acoustasonic that you buy now will be perfect like this Strat. It was only minor things anyway, I heard about a weak high E string and the pickup wire hole was too small in my original tele guitar, they also did not have a string tree but now they all do. If anyone has an early Tele these are all easy fixes and I’m sure that Fender would get it resolved for you. For anyone buying now you are all good.
