Default A Day In The Life, Beatles 1967

"A Day in the Life" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles, released in their 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It remains one of the most celebrated songs in music history, appearing on many lists of the greatest songs of all time.

Lennon's lyrics were mainly inspired by contemporary newspaper articles, including a report on the death of Guinness heir Tara Browne.

Keep love always in your heart, and always be ready to give it out generously!!!

Feedback is much appreciated.

Yes very nice, great acoustic adaptation of a classic. I couldn't wait to see how you were going to handle the big ending crescendo and final chord on an acoustic guitar. Nice choices there. Enjoyed it,

I don’t always comment, Rene, but that doesn’t mean I’m not checking in on your work. Always the student, there is a skill here I appreciate.

People in the entertainment business have certain qualities that the public finds interesting, attractive, inviting, attention getting, drawing them past the fourth wall to be a part in some way of the experience.

Aside from a unique vocal delivery, competent guitar work to support the vocal, your defining skill, the one thing above all else that draws me in, is the way you attack a song with complete and total fearlessness. Every time, no matter the genre of music, you leave it all out there. Every time. Now that’s a skill worth learning.

Thanks for another lesson, CoolCat!

One of my absolute favourite Beatle songs which you delivered in your usual immaculate and musical way. The Paul Mccartney section ("Got out of bed..") could have been difficult to bring off and you managed to integrate it into the rest of the arrangement with aplomb. Thank you, made my morning (I was sat here in my classroom listening to it whilst trying to plan a science lesson but your performance drew me in and I had to stop what I was doing )

Hi Robbie,
Thank you for your super-wonderful feedback!!!
I love that I got into your day with our youth in a Science Class preparation session!!!
This is a compliment that made my week!!!
Love your comments, my friend!!!
I want to say "Thank You" for what you do for our "future", our youth!!!
A teacher is one I look up to, and always appreciate, for all the sacrifices that you do, for the good of a child, a leader, a civic participant.
You have the power to load our future, and simply want to say my thanks to you!!!
With respect,
Rene

Really quite good, Rene. That’s a tough one to sing with conviction. You nailed the spirit of this piece of music.
