As has been said, just go and play as many as you can, you'll quickly sort out preferences.

Don't be in a hurry, everyone has different tastes, for example, The Martin D-18 is a very fine guitar but, I wouldn't agree with it being best bang for the buck.

Good luck with your journey, as you narrow things down then you might find other questions to pose to the forum to further narrow things down .

Please don't take offense, but this is a very unanswerable question. I myself would never buy a Taylor, yet ease of play is high on your list, and Taylors play easily. So does the Martin SC 13. Would not buy one of those either. But Taylor builds good guitars as does everyone else, and nobodies opinion maters at all except yours.

Sound is so subjective. I'd tell you for best tone get a dreadnaught strung with .013s with medium high action. What does my opinion mean to you? Nothing.

Yamaha A5M or the Taylor 324ce. I had an A5R. I prefer the plugged in sound of the M. My A5M has lower actionnthan my 324ce. Was it set up professionally? Maybe. Nut width is a factor to consider. What do you prefer 1 11/16 or 1 3/4?

I'm going to focus on the 'value for money' aspect and suggest the Epiphone 'Inspired by Gibson' J-45 might be worth checking out.

Check out this comparison clip - playing starts around 4.40 mark.

Me too. Always after guitars that sound incredible. Problem is, you never know until you play them.

The guitars on your list cover a wide range of tones. Try at least one Yamaha, one Gibson, one Martin and one Taylor.

You should be able to find a Taylor 314 fairly easily. Start with that. Do the Gibsons last -- they usually have the most variability among individual guitars.

Gets an amen from me. Especially if you can get a new one for 20% off the regular price.

I would vote for the Taylor 324.

I had a Taylor 322 that sounded quite like my 2014 Martin OOO-18.

And if you think on the long term, a neck reset is easily done on a Taylor bolted neck.

Default Eastman

Dollar for dollar would put the current Eastman E series up against any re: tone, build quality, & aesthetics. Have an E20D TC and E6OM TC - both sound great and are exquisite aesthetically at an extremely competitive price.

You have a great list; the real challenge is getting to pay as many of these (and others!) as possible.
All of us on this forum have opinions and biases, based on how various makes and models sound/feel to us.
You will too - go out and get biased towards what you will really love.

Default Which guitar is best for money?

From your list the J-45 standard would be my choice. Outside of your list an Eastman would IMO likely be a better sounding guitar (and certainly better value) than any of the guitars on your list.
