Default True, Spandau Ballet 1983

True is the third studio album by English band Spandau Ballet, released on 4 March 1983 by Chrysalis Records. It reached number one on the UK Albums Chart, number 19 on the US Billboard 200. It was also Spandau Ballet's first album to be recorded outside of London.

Your wonderful rendition proves that without all the 80s over production there were some truly great songs written back then. I often think that if you strip back to basics songs by many of the biggest bands in the 80s (here in the UK I'm thinking particularly of bands such as Ultravox, Duan Duran, OMD, Aha, Tears for Fears etc) that you will discover some of the greatest song writing of the 10th century.

This version of yours is stunning 😍

Hi Robbie,
You are simply awesome, and I think you are a musical genius as well.
There are super-songs in the 80s that are just hidden in the producr=tion, as you mentioned, and I agree.
Love your very humbling, and very inspiring comments.
Respectfully,
Rene
