Default McGuire's Landing (Pete Huttlinger)

I've posted my attempts at this before. One of my all time favourite pieces of music and my favourite to play. The piece that really got me going in playing guitar.

Here is my latest, on my new McNally OM (cedar on walnut), the first time I played it at home. There are some stumbles and I was really trying out the response and dynamics in places sometimes not very appropriately but I am blown away by this incredible guitar [NGD thread with pics is up].

Recorded direct into an ipad (garageband) with just a hair of comp & reverb added.

Thanks for listening.

I enjoyed that and the new guitar is truly gorgeous

This piece sounds relatively straightforward to play and I know its not. After playing it, and playing it over and over you will find it will gradually flow better.

Thanks for posting this. I've always particularly liked this piece of Pete's and I enjoyed your rendition. Maybe I'll give it another shot myself!

Thanks to you all for listening and for your kind words
The new guitar continues to delight, all the more as I get accustomed to its dynamics and responsiveness, and to the full scale.

Good Coler, thanks for sharing!

I have to get back to some of Pete's music. Gone too soon.
