My first recording
Aloha All,
I just recorded this original piece at my friend's simple home studio (2 mics set up in the basement office). It's a rough draft, work in progress, no mixing, nada - but a baby step towards getting familiar with what's required to create a truly finished track. Thanks for listening and any constructive feedback. Peace.... Recorded with my Martin OM-21s. http://soundcloud.com/candace-freela...nd-rough-draft |

Candace,
I think your original sounds lovely. Nice melody, nice touch and wonderful tone. Great job on your first recording too. I enjoyed this, so thankyou for sharing here today and I look forward to hearing more. Mahalo, noledog

That's very nice, CF. I liked it. Pretty piece. And a very lovely sounding guitar too.

I liked your playing. However, parts of the recording were shrill. I don't know much about that stuff, so I can't offer much in the way of a critique. Re playing, it seemed that your timing was a little off here and there. Don't know if you use a metronome, but it might help. My bottom line is: I enjoyed it - nice!
