I've got a Fender Blues Junior III Custom (Musician's Friend) with 12-inch Jensen Alnico Speaker that sounds great!

I picked up a Monoprice 15 watt tube amp a few years ago new for around $219. It's pretty awesome sounding. Has a 12" Celestion speaker. Its just one channel, but does include a spring reverb. I believe it's a clone of a Laney Cub 12. The thing sounds fantastic, and for the price can't be touched.

I believe the alnico Jensen is a significant upgrade and in price too - the Jensen P10R in the Pro Junior IV is promoted in the Fender literature for “extra sparkle” and some may detract on the extra brightness - but the high-fi touch responsiveness and high frequency expanded ceiling (always to be tamed with the guitar tone control) leaves the darker non-Fender amps behind in the dust.
