It would, but I'm sure she'd come up with something nice!

Well we finally got most of the wood split and stacked from the 7 large Maple trees we had felled last week. It’s a LOT of sweat equity but we should have enough firewood now to keep our shop warm for the next 3-4 winters. To put the photo into perspective, there are five rows of wood outside the wood shed and each row is 20’ long x 5’ high.

I split 5 - 6 cords each year. And that's enough!!! Tim, you're a better man than I am...

I hear ya J. Glad you have a perspective of the labor involved. I suspect that we will soon be imposing a moratorium on ourselves, in the next few years, that our bodies are just to old for all this work and we might go down the road of allowing some much younger whippersnappers the joy of all this work.

We just returned from delivering Marty Raybon’s 2nd McKnight Guitar. If you don’t know Marty, he is the Grammy award winner and lead singer for the touring band Shenandoah and he also tours with his other band Full Circle.
Shenandoah’s lead guitarist Jamie Michael also took delivery of his new McKnight Guitar. |
